Your ZeroMOUSE™ can be installed in just 5 minutes – quick, easy, and stress-free!
What you additionally need
You will need an installed microchip cat flap, a USB-C cable, a USB power adapter with at least 2A output, and a screwdriver.
Note: Install ZeroMOUSE™ into your cat flap before setting up the app. Make sure there is nothing inside the tunnel during setup so the device can calibrate correctly.
Let's get started!
Remove your existing microchip cat flap.
Place the USB-C cable through the hole.
Reinstall your cat flap.
Clean and dry the inside of your cat flap's tunnel.
Plug the USB-C cable into your ZeroMOUSE™ 2.0 (do not connect power yet).
Peel off the protective film from the adhesive pads. Place it centrally on the tunnel floor so that it contacts the rear frame.
Make sure there is nothing inside the tunnel (not even your hand).
Install the ZeroMOUSE™ app on your phone, create a customer profile, and grant Bluetooth permission.
Connect the power supply and wait for the device to start up. When it blinks green steadily, setup is complete.
Add your ZeroMOUSE™ 2.0 to the app and wait until registration is complete.
Your ZeroMOUSE™ 2.0 is now fully set up and ready to use.
Setup without Adapter
For cat flaps from SURE Petcare or Closer Pets, your installation should look like the example shown.
Setup with Adapter
For cat flaps from PetSafe, you'll need an adapter (included in every delivery). Place the adapter under the ZeroMOUSE™ before installing it in the tunnel.
Simply scan one of the two QR codes to go directly to the appropriate app version.
